Electrician
Installation, testing and repairs for housing providers, landlords and commercial clients, often alongside our build team.
About the role
We are looking for qualified Electricians to join APBS Electrical Services, a NAPIT registered contractor. You will carry out installation, testing and repair work across homes and commercial buildings, often working alongside our build team on kitchens, bathrooms, voids and refurbishments. Most work is in occupied homes and client buildings, so you will deal directly with customers, tenants, housing association staff, care home teams and school facilities staff, and represent APBS professionally on every job.
What you will do
- Full and partial rewires, new circuits and consumer unit upgrades
- Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and void property testing
- Kitchen and bathroom electrics as part of our planned works
- Fault finding and responsive repairs
- Smoke and heat alarms, lighting and emergency lighting
- Complete certificates and test results accurately for every job
What you need
- Qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification
- Inspection and testing qualification (2391 or equivalent) preferred
- Experience in domestic and social housing work
- Full UK driving licence
